Itinerary

Day 1: Black Labyrinth
The Black Labyrinth is a world-renowned tour, taking you through the wonderful and mysterious Ruakuri Cave on the ultimate cave tubing adventure. With intimate sized groups and two experienced tour guides at the helm, you'll be led through the underground river in rubber tubes, stopping to admire the incredible display of glowworms above, jumping into cascading waterfalls and climbing rocks along the way. After the tour commences, you can enjoy a hot show and complimentary soup and bagels!

Being at the age where the body isn’t as compliant, I decided that tubing would be my “high risk activity” of our NZ holiday. The team of cave guides: Molly, Megan and Amber, were great; the water was ccc... refreshing; and the caves astonishing. And little glow worms shone for us. Well organised and a very memorable experience. Highly recommended - and the “old” bones managed it well.
