Day 1: Jervis Bay Adventure
It's true that Sydney boasts an indisputably beautiful coastline, but a little further south of the city is a truly breathtaking region, well worth the city escape. Jervis Bay is renowned for its beautiful beaches and stunning natural environment. If you want to explore the area and see for yourself, jump on this day tour with Coast Warriors and let them handle the transport and planning!
The tour will collect you from either Kings Cross at 6:45 am or Sydney City Central at 7:00 am. The first activity planned once you arrive in Jervis Bay is a boat cruise around the Shoalhaven coastline, which will hopefully feature some of the local marine life. After the boat trip, we park up for lunch on the beach - an Australian-style BBQ. Once lunch has settled, we are heading to the beach with the whitest sand in the world - Hyams Beach. We then visit the small town of Kiama, including a stop at the lighthouse and the Kiama Blow Hole, a unique rock formation that shoots fountains of seawater up to 20 metres in the air. There's time to relax, swim and wander before we pile back on the bus and head to Bald Hill in Stanwell. Here you can marvel at the views of the NSW coastline and the Sea Cliff Bridge before we head back to Sydney. There's one last opportunity to unwind after the tour when we stop at a local bar in the city around 6:30 pm.
