Adventure Awaits

One for the active and adventurous out there, this three hour guided tour is a great way to explore Byron Bay and immerse yourself in the surroundings that make Australia's most easterly point so well-renowned. Surf livesavers will be on hand to guide you through the waters, helping you spot marine life and teaching you about Byron's history, aboriginal culture and marine biology. On the way back to shore, you'll also have the chance to kayak through the waves to top off the day.

Itinerary

Day 1: 
There are morning or afternoon tour times to choose from for this guided kayak, with morning pick-ups from accommodation in Byron Bay between 9:00 am and 9:25 am for the 9:30 am tour, or between 1:30 pm and 1:55 pm for the 2:00 pm time. For the next few hours, we will be kayaking around the Byron Bay Marine Park, spotting wildlife and learning about the region's history. Towards the end of the tour, one of the experienced guides will help you kayak through the surf into shore. Drop off back to your accommodation in Byron Bay afterwards.

My harbour cruise was lovely! Our guide was super friendly. Also, as a newbie to kayaking, I was nervous about going out in a harbour. I had no cause for concern. I was easily able to paddle, and my guide gave me tips the whole way through. Also, nature DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The sunrise projected all the colors one would want, and the water was very peaceful. I definitely recommend this kayaking tour.
