4 Day Learn to Dive - eLearning + Liveaboard

If you are limited on time and can’t participate in Pro Dive Cairns popular 5 day learn to dive course, but still want to have a liveaboard experience, this 4 day course is perfect for you. You’ll combine online theory with practical training AND the adventure of a 3 day / 2 night liveaboard trip.

The four-day course consists of three parts:

After you book, you will receive login instructions for the online PADI eLearning Open Water Course theory. These modules and quizzes must be completed before you arrive in Cairns and start your practical training. One day of practical training at the Pro Dive Cairns Training Centre. Three-days and two-nights on an Outer Great Barrier Reef liveaboard trip.

Your practical training is completed at the Pro Dive Cairns Training Centre. Centrally located in Cairns city, the training centre features two heated four-metre deep diver training pools. You’ll be learning in comfort and safety with our qualified PADI instructors. After your day at the training centre, it’s time to head out to The Great Barrier Reef for a three-day, two-night liveaboard adventure to become a certified diver!


Itinerary

Day 1 : 4 Day Learn to Dive Course (eLearning + liveaboard )
Step 1: Complete PADI eLearning theory component in your own time at your own pace. Step 2: Join Pro Dive Cairns 4 Day Learn to Dive Course comprising: 1 day theory review and pool training at Pro Dive Cairns Training Centre; followed by a 3 Day / 2 Night Liveaboard Trip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Includes 9 Dives (4 mandatory training dives and 5 pleasure dives – including one night dive). Meals are provided during the 3 Day / 2 Night liveaboard trip but not on Day 1 at the Training Centre.
Meals :Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner


Pickups / Departures

Courses commence every Tuesday Wednesday and Friday.


Extras

Extra costs: AU$90 consists of Environmental Management Charge (Reef tax), fuel levies, port departure tax and admin fees. 

Dive Medical if required:  MEDICAL INFORMATION: Some medical conditions may prevent you from diving. All students must read the 'Entry Level Student Diver Medical Declaration Form'. You will be required to obtain a dive medical certificate if you answer “yes” to any of the questions on the medical declaration. The dive medical must be completed PRIOR to starting the course and must be valid within 90 days of commencing the course.  http://www.prodivecairns.com/studentmedical.pdf
