Day 1 - Overnight Bus from Sydney to Byron Bay
Enjoy a free day in Sydney! In the evening, you will head north and take the overnight bus to the beautiful Byron Bay. Your adventure begins!
Day 2 - Free Day in Byron Bay / Overnight Byron Bay
It’s your first day in beautiful Byron Bay and we are certain you’re going to enjoy the laid-back vibes this place is so famous for! Surf The Pass, take a walk the beach or wander around the shops in town.
Day 3 - Nimbin Day Trip / Overnight Byron Bay
Head out on the awesome Grasshoppers Nimbin Tour to check out this fun little town in the hills where the locals embrace the hippie lifestyle and all visitors. The tour includes plenty of time in Nimbin, a BBQ lunch at a secluded nature reserve and a chance to explore the local waterfalls and National Park.
Day 4 - Free Day in Byron Bay / Overnight Byron Bay
It’s your last full day in Byron Bay! You can’t leave without visiting the Cape Byron Lighthouse to enjoy the magnificent view of Byron Bay and stand at the most easterly point in Australia. In the evening, stroll down the main street, listen to the street musicians and have a drink in one of the numerous bars in town.
Day 5 - Bus to Surfers Paradise / Overnight Surfers Paradise
Check out of the hostel and board the bus up to Surfers Paradise. You will stay for two nights in a backpackers right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, only a short 1-block walk to the beach!
Day 6 - Free Day in Surfers Paradise / Overnight Surfers Paradise
Free day to explore and relax in Surfers Paradise. Why not visit one of the awesome Theme Parks this area is famous for? (Optional extra)
Day 7 - Bus from Surfers Paradise to Brisbane / Overnight Brisbane
Check out your hostel and catch the bus north to Brisbane.
Day 8 - Free day in Brisbane / Overnight Brisbane
Enjoy a full free day in Brisbane. Explore South Bank, ride through the Botanic Gardens and have a big night out in Fortitude Valley.
Day 9 - Bus to Noosa / Overnight Noosa
The trip continues with a bus ride to beautiful Noosa. Upon arrival, you will check into an awesome hostel for two nights.
Day 10 - Everglades Cruise Noosa / Overnight Noosa
Have a unique Everglades experience in Noosa. Enjoy a morning tea at historic Harry’s Hut to start the day then spend the afternoon canoeing down the ‘’River of Mirrors’’.
Day 11 - 12 - Bus Noosa to Rainbow Beach / Overnight Rainbow Beach
Jump on the bus from Noosa to Rainbow Beach where you will check-in for two consecutive nights. Ask us about adding on a Skydive, kayaking, sandboarding, kite surfing or surfing! On day 12, you attend a safety brief ahead of your trip and self-drive safari on Fraser Island.
Day 13 - 15 - 3 day/2 Night Fraser Island 4WD camping tour
Join a three day Fraser Island, self-drive tag along Tour. This is an amazing trip around this World Heritage Listed island with a chance to explore, swim in freshwater lakes and creeks such as Lake McKenzie and Eli Creek, camp in the sand dunes and even have a go driving the 4WD vehicles along the beach (providing you have had your full driving license for at least one year and are 21 years old). Once you have finished the tour, you will check back into the hostel in Rainbow Beach for one more night and a farewell gathering with your fellow explorers.
Day 16 - Overnight Bus to Airlie Beach
Jump on the overnight bus from Rainbow Beach to Airlie Beach. The coach has Free WIFI and USB chargers.
Day 17 - Free day in Airlie Beach / Overnight Airlie Beach
Arrive in Airlie Beach and check into the hostel for one night. You will also need to check in for your amazing Whitsundays boat trip on this day.
Day 18-19 - 2 Day / 2 Night Whitsundays Cruise
Head out for two days and two nights sailing the beautiful Whitsundays! This tour takes in all the highlights of the Whitsunday Islands, including Whitehaven Beach and several snorkeling spots. The trip is all-inclusive so there is nothing extra to pay for food, reef taxes, snorkeling equipment, etc.
Day 20 - Free Day in Airlie Beach / Overnight Airlie Beach
You have a free day to explore Airlie Beach before heading on Magnetic Island for 2 nights.
Day 21- Bus to Townsville, ferry to Magnetic Island / Overnight Magnetic Island
Jump on the bus from Airlie Beach to Townsville. You will get off the bus right by the Ferry Terminal where you will be taken over to the beautiful Magnetic Island for two nights. The hostel is located right on the beach and includes a couple of meals as well as free snorkel hire so you can see some coral straight from the beach.
Day 22 - Free Day in Magnetic Island / Overnight Magnetic Island
Free day in paradise! There are several beautiful beaches and awesome walks on the island for you to enjoy. You also have the option to hire a car and really explore the island for the day.
Day 23 - Ferry to Townsville, bus to Cairns / Overnight Cairns
Return on the ferry back to the mainland where you will jump on the bus up to Cairns. On arrival, you will check into your accommodation for four nights.
Day 24 - Free Day in Cairns / Overnight Cairns
Enjoy your first day in this incredible city north Queensland city! Feel the vibes of this party locale and hit the town tonight!
Day 25 - 1 Day Great Barrier Reef Cruise / Overnight Cairns
Today, it’s out to the Great Barrier Reef for a day of snorkelling world heritage protected reefs, lounging on private islands and getting up close to some of the world’s most amazing marine life. This is a great trip that visits two different sites on the reef, includes loads of food and snorkelling equipment hire. Ask us about adding a scuba dive to your Great Barrier Reef experience and view this amazing place from a completely different angle.
Day 26 - Free Day in Cairns / Overnight Cairns
Your final day in Cairns is all about relaxation - which is why we are taking you to some of the areas best beaches. You can also join an optional tour to the World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation. Explore the amazing jungle, swim in the stunning Mossman Gorge, learn about Indigenous culture from the regions First People and spot crocodiles on a river cruise.
