Day 1 - Overnight Bus from Melbourne to Sydney
Have a free day exploring Melbourne city before jumping on the overnight bus to Sydney.
Day 2 - Free Day in Sydney / Overnight Sydney
Arrive in Sydney and check into your central accommodation for 2 nights. Remember to visit the famous Opera House while you're here along with the beautiful beaches in the surrounding suburbs. You may also want to head to the incredible Taronga Zoo, ask us how!
Day 3 - Free Day in Sydney / Overnight Sydney
Take your time as you explore the city of Sydney; cruise around and visit the locals favourite sites, such as St Paddy's Markets.
Day 4 - Overnight Bus from Sydney to Byron Bay
Enjoy your last free day in Sydney! In the evening, you will head north and take the overnight bus to the beautiful Byron Bay.
Day 5 - Free Day in Byron Bay / Overnight Byron Bay
It’s your first day in beautiful Byron Bay and we are certain you’re going to enjoy the laid-back vibes this place is so famous for! Surf The Pass, take a walk to the beach or wander around the shops in town. In the evening, stroll down the main street, listen to the street musicians and have a drink in one of the numerous bars in town.
Day 6 - Nimbin Day Trip / Overnight Byron Bay
Head out on the awesome Grasshoppers Nimbin Tour to check out this fun little town in the hills where the locals embrace the hippie lifestyle and all visitors. The tour includes plenty of time in Nimbin, a BBQ lunch at a secluded nature reserve and a chance to explore the local waterfalls and National Park.
Day 7 - Bus to Noosa / Overnight in Noosa
The trip continues with a bus ride to beautiful Noosa. Upon arrival, you will check into an awesome hostel for one night.
Day 8 - Bus Noosa to Rainbow Beach / Overnight Rainbow Beach
Jump on the bus from Noosa to Rainbow Beach where you will check in for one night. Today, you'll attend a safety brief ahead of your trip and self-drive safari on Fraser Island.
Day 9 - 11 - 3 day/2 Night Fraser Island 4WD camping tour
Join a three day Fraser Island, self-drive tag along Tour. This is an amazing trip around this World Heritage Listed island with a chance to explore, swim in freshwater lakes and creeks such as Lake McKenzie and Eli Creek, camp in the sand dunes and even have a go driving the 4WD vehicles along the beach (providing you have had your full driving license for at least one year and are 21 years old). Once you have finished the tour, you will check back into the hostel in Rainbow Beach for one more night and a farewell gathering with your fellow explorers.
Day 12 - Overnight Bus to Airlie Beach
Jump on the overnight bus from Rainbow Beach to Airlie Beach. The coach has Free WIFI and USB chargers.
Day 13 - Free day in Airlie Beach / Overnight Airlie Beach
Arrive in Airlie Beach and check into the hostel for one night. You will also need to check-in for your amazing Whitsundays boat trip on this day.
Day 14-16 - 3 Day / 2 Night Whitsundays Cruise
Day 17 - Bus to Cairns /Overnight Cairns
Jump on the bus up to Cairns. On arrival, you will check into your accommodation for two nights.
Day 18 - 1 Day Great Barrier Reef Cruise / Overnight Cairns
Today, it’s out to the Great Barrier Reef for a day of snorkeling world heritage protected reefs, lounging on private islands and getting up close to some of the world’s most amazing marine life. This is a great trip that visits two different sites on the reef, includes loads of food and snorkelling equipment hire. Ask us about adding a scuba dive to your Great Barrier Reef experience and view this amazing place from a completely different angle. Once you return from the trip, you will have 1 more night in the hostel in Cairns.
