This incredible package takes you from Brisbane through the stunning lakes and rainforests of Fraser Island and sailing across the Whitsundays, finally winding up in Cairns to snorkel the spectacular Great Barrier Reef! The perfect cheap East Coast package for the adventurous student! Spend a full day snorkeling through amazing coral formations and marine life on the Great Barrier Reef, visit Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet on a sailing trip through the Whitsundays and explore Fraser Island from your own 4x4 vehicle.
Day 1 - Bus from Brisbane Noosa / Overnight in Noosa
The trip starts with a bus ride to beautiful Noosa. Upon arrival, you will check into an awesome hostel for two nights.
Day 2 - Everglades Cruise Noosa / Overnight in Noosa
Have a unique Everglades experience in Noosa. Enjoy a morning tea at historic Harry’s Hut to start the day then spend the afternoon canoeing down the ‘’River of Mirrors’’.
Day 3 - 4 - Bus from Noosa to Rainbow Beach / Overnight Rainbow Beach
Jump on the bus from Noosa to Rainbow Beach where you will check-in for the night. On day 4, you attend a safety brief ahead of your trip and self-drive safari on Fraser Island.
Day 5 - 7 - 2 day/2 Night Fraser Island 4WD camping tour
Join a three day Fraser Island, self-drive tag along Tour. This is an amazing trip around this World Heritage Listed island with a chance to explore, swim in freshwater lakes and creeks such as Lake McKenzie and Eli Creek, camp in the sand dunes and even have a go driving the 4WD vehicles along the beach (providing you have had your full driving license for at least one year and are 21 years old). Once you have finished the tour, you will check back into the hostel in Rainbow Beach for one more night and a farewell gathering with your fellow explorers.
Day 8 - Overnight Bus to Airlie Beach
Jump on the overnight bus from Rainbow Beach to Airlie Beach. The coach has Free WIFI and USB chargers.
Day 9 - Free day in Airlie Beach / Overnight Airlie Beach
Arrive in Airlie Beach and check into the hostel for one night. You will also need to check-in for your amazing Whitsundays boat trip on this day.
Day 10-12 - 2 Day / 2 Night Whitsundays Cruise
Head out for two days and two nights sailing the beautiful Whitsundays! This tour takes in all the highlights of the Whitsunday Islands, including Whitehaven Beach and several snorkeling spots. The trip is all-inclusive so there is nothing extra to pay for food, reef taxes, snorkeling equipment, etc. Once you return from the trip, you will have one more night in the hostel in Airlie Beach.
Day 13 - Bus to Townsville, ferry to Magnetic Island / Overnight Magnetic Island
Jump on the bus from Airlie Beach to Townsville. You will get off the bus right by the Ferry Terminal where you will be taken over to the beautiful Magnetic Island for two nights. The hostel is located right on the beach and includes a couple of meals as well as free snorkel hire so you can see some coral straight from the beach.
Day 14 - Free Day in Magnetic Island / Overnight Magnetic Island
Free day in paradise! There are several beautiful beaches and awesome walks on the island for you to enjoy. You also have the option to hire a car and really explore the island for the day.
Day 15 - Ferry to Townsville, bus to Cairns /Overnight Cairns
Return on the ferry back to the mainland where you will jump on the bus up to Cairns. On arrival, you will check into your accommodation for four nights.
Day 16 - Free Day in Cairns / Overnight Cairns
Enjoy your first day in this incredible city north Queensland city! Feel the vibes of this party locale and hit the town tonight!
Day 17 - 1 Day Great Barrier Reef Cruise / Overnight Cairns
Today, it’s out to the Great Barrier Reef for a day of snorkelling world heritage protected reefs, lounging on private islands and getting up close to some of the world’s most amazing marine life. This is a great trip that visits two different sites on the reef, includes loads of food and snorkelling equipment hire. Ask us about adding a scuba dive to your Great Barrier Reef experience and view this amazing place from a completely different angle.
Day 18 - Free Day in Cairns / Overnight Cairns
Your final day in Cairns is all about relaxation - which is why we are taking you to some of the areas best beaches. You can also join an optional tour to the World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation. Explore the amazing jungle, swim in the stunning Mossman Gorge, learn about Indigenous culture from the regions First People and spot crocodiles on a river cruise.
