Alice Springs or Uluru

Your Adventure Awaits

To engross yourself in the true spirit of the outback, we recommend exploring the land by foot and camping under the stars - and that's exactly what you'll be doing on this highlight safari tour. View Uluru at sunset and sunrise, walk through Kata Tjuta and the Valley of the Winds, head out to Kings Creek Station and walk through the enormous Kings Canyon (Watarrka).

Day 1:

You can jump on the tour from Alice Springs or meet us in Uluru - up to you! Once we have collected all our travellers and arrived at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park we will be visiting a camel farm and learning more about these animal's significance in the Australian outback. In the afternoon, we head on an informative base walk of Uluru followed by a visit to the nearby Cultural Centre. We stick around to see the desert turn different shades and the sun set. After dinner, we get comfortable in our private camp ahead of another busy day tomorrow!

Meals: Lunch (Alice Springs departure only), Dinner

Day 2:

After what was hopefully a great nights rest, we wake you bright and early to experience Uluru at sunrise, then take a short drive to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) to hike and explore Uluru's incredible counterpart. Here we take the Valley of the Winds walk through creek beds, domes and beautiful wilderness before heading off for lunch. After a refuel we travel to Kings Creek Station for another night of private camping.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3:

On the final day of our Red Centre safari, we enter Watarrka (Kings Canyon) National Park, a combination of red rock and lush palm. We take the rim walk (around 6km) and visit the Amphitheatre, Lost City and tranquil Garden of Eden. We share one last meal together then journey back to Alice Springs, arriving late in the afternoon.

I booked this tour because the travel agent recommend it to me and I was not disappointed! We started from Alice springs although it was a long journey to get uluru it was worth it! Our guide (Adam) was extremely knowledgeable about the aboriginal culture and all the flora and plants and animals in the red center. We woke up early to watch sun rise which unfortunately we could not see because of the rain and clouds, then we did a hike around Kata Tjuta which was in the rain but that made if better than in the heat in my opinion and because of the rain we see amazing waterfalls all around Kata Tjuta! Then we headed to kings canyon. Arrived at camp and Adam cooked dinner over the camp fire. Then we sleped under the stars in a swag! Kings canyon was the highlight of the tour absolutely stunning! There was plenty of food for dinner and snacks throughout the day, I never went hungry. I will definitely recomed this tour!
