Itinerary

Day 1 : Australia’s capital city
With two pick up locations to choose from, you will be departing Sydney between 7:20 am and 8:00 am, bound for Canberra! The first stop of the day is a visit to National Parliament House, which has recently undergone an architectural makeover of $1.1 billion. After this we visit the Australian War Memorial, Yarralumla to see the many national embassies, and the National Museum of Australia. There is a final stop at Mount Ainslie to take in the Canberra views before we head back to Sydney for an 8:30 pm arrival.

Departure Times: 

7:25 am - Central – St Laurence Church, 812 George St

7:45 am - Circular Quay – The Obelisk, Macquarie Place Park, Corner Loftus & Bridge Street

Tour Returns: Approximately 8:30 pm to Sydney Central area only

The tour of the Australian War memorial, the Australian museum followed by the tour of Parliament was superb. The highlight for me was seeing a live Parliamentary Session. The drive back and forth from Sydney can be a little tiring. We slept on the way back. the tour guide from AAT KIngs - Peter T - was phenomenal. He is a very jovial person always ready to help others. I do recommend this tour as it does its best to cover much of canberra within a day.
