Buffalo Dreaming 4WD Top End Safari - Wayoutback

Day 1:

Your Top End tour begins bright and early, with collection from Darwin accommodation scheduled from 6:00 am. Once on the road, we are heading to Mary River Wetlands for a cruise along the water! This region is saturated with flora and fauna to spot, with over 250 bird species and the highest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the Southern Hemisphere calling this region home. We take a picnic lunch after cruise and stop at Bowali Visitor Centre, arriving at Ubirr late in the afternoon. Take time to appreciate the Indigenous history and culture of the land as we inspect ancient Aboriginal art and climb the Nadab Lookout for panoramic views over the floodplain and into Arnhem Land. After this, we head to our private campsite for the night.

Day 2:

We are off to explore the jewels of Kakadu National Park today, departing the camp after breakfast and journeying to Twin and Jim Jim Falls. This is an exciting ride, taking a 4WD track, boat shuttle and track to reach Twin Falls, a remote waterfall deep within Kakadu National Park. Afterwards, we head to Jim Jim Falls before departing Kakadu National Park and travelling towards Litchfield National Park and stopping at our next private campsite.

Day 3:

The adventure ends today, but not before we squeeze in as much exploration in a day as possible. We are taking you to more waterfalls and spring-fed streams in Litchfield National Park, plus the cathedral termite mounds, Bluey Rockhole and Florence and Wangi Falls. We finish the trip and head back to Darwin for an early evening arrival.
