Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrive at any time in Manila and we will meet you at the airport. Settle in to our accommodation and then join us on the roof terrace to meet the group,  and have some Filipino BBQ overlooking the Manila skyline.  After that, we checkout some famous Manila nightlife spots, with guest-list entry into clubs and good times at our favourite bars.

Accommodation: 4-bed dorms in boutique hostel in down-town Manila

    Meals: Dinner

  • Day 2: Fly to Palawan in the morning. Check in to our boutique hotel and relax by the pool for a while.  If we have the time, we visit the Iwahig Prison where the inmates govern themselves and learn new skills such as farming and dancing. In the evening, we sample some weird and wonderful Filipino street food by the water. Once we have eaten, we go for some beer tasting and a small cultural show at Palawan's only craft brewery!

Accommodation: Twin/double rooms in artistic boutique hotel

    Meals: Breakfast

  • Day 3: After a delicious breakfast, we head to the UNESCO heritage Underground River. We jump into a small boat, and are taken around this amazing place by an experienced local guide. In the afternoon, we drive along dirt roads to the beautiful village of Port Barton. Port Barton is so remote it doesn't even have electricity for half the day! We spend the night in a beach bungalow listening to the sounds of the ocean.

Accommodation: Twin/double rooms in Filipino style beach-front bungalows

    Meals: Breakfast

  • Day 4: Today we hike through the countryside, past farms and rice fields to reach a small jungle waterfall where we relax and cool down. After some exploring, we board a traditional Filipino fishing boat to our beach camp for the next 2 nights. We will have a few beers around a bonfire in paradise watching the sunset! Your tents are permanent 'glamping tents' right on the beach, each with their own chillout area and fire-pit outside.

Accommodation: Twin/doubles in beach-front glamping tents

    Meals: Dinner

  • Day 5: Experience paradise island life! Today we explore the area with our guide. We have a few activities available here including kayaking to deserted islands to explore, fishing for dinner, and snorkelling the surrounding reef. We will play some beach volleyball or badminton in the afternoon and help prepare some amazing Filipino food to have as the sun goes down on another perfect day.

Accommodation: Twin/doubles in beach-front glamping tents

    Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

  • Day 6: Unzip your tent and say goodbye to this incredible place. Today we are travelling to El Nido in the north of the island by boat and minivan. We check in to our boutique hostel and relax for the afternoon before heading to our favourite reggae beach bar for dinner and good times.

Accommodation: 4-bed dorms in top-rated boutique hostel

    Meals: Breakfast

  • Day 7: Island hopping! We have an early start to board the custom-built, exclusive boat to take us around all the tiny islands in the bay. You will explore the most spectacular islands and the bluest waters you have ever seen. Snorkel and kayak with your new friends, and feast on the freshly prepared food on board. We will have our drinks (beer and local rum) included, and music to match the scenery. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
